Hello and welcome to my class website for 6th, 7th and 8th grade social studies at Pueblo Gardens K-8.  The 6th grade curriculum is based on world history.The main focus of the 7th and 8th grade classes is U.S. history from the American Revolution up through the present. Students will learn to think like a historian in my classroom.  They will learn to look for turning points and to analyze how things have changed and how they have stayed the same.  They will look at events from the perspective of those who lived the event and will consistently look for cause and effect relationships in history.  As you navigate throughout the website you will find a variety of educational material that I have created or borrowed to help make the world come alive in the classroom!
