My name is Jim Jaeger.  I am a teacher in Tucson, Arizona, where I live with my wife and two boys.  I have been a teacher for 19 total years and have taught all subjects in grades 3-8.   My hobbies include playing Guild Wars 2, playing deck-building games, reading fantasy/sci-fi epic novels, WWE and Marvel comics.  I have been a Chicago Cubs baseball and North Carolina Tar Heels basketball fan since I was 10.  That fandom has given me many highs and lows over the years. :) I am certified to teach AP United States history (APUSH), am seeking National Board Certification in middle grades history, and am a frequent contributor to the Learning A-Z website.
